Join us this spring as we continue our journey with the Capitol Hill Singing School. Here are the details:
What: A twelve-week course designed to teach children how to sing well and in harmony. The children will begin to learn how to read music. The repertoire will contain a variety of church music. The class will culminate in an evening concert on April 27th.
Who: Children in grades 2-8 (ages 7-14). Participation is open to children from all religious backgrounds, but the repertoire and teaching will be distinctly Christian.
When: Mondays from January 27 through April 27 from 1:45-3:00pm. It will be 12 total sessions because we will not meet on Presidents’ Day (Feb. 17) or Easter Monday (Apr. 13).
Where: Capitol Hill Baptist Church – Enter the parking lot next to 17 5th St NE, Washington, DC 20002 (The Singing School is not a program of the church, but is organized by church members.)
Cost: $110 for 1st child in family, $90 for 2nd child, $70 for each add’l child.
